I’M NOT AN ARCHITECT OR DESIGNER, DOES IT MATTER?
Not at all. We look at the city from an architectural point of view, but without people, a city is just space. Our focus is on the people living in the city and shaping it. These tours are for the general audience. No archispeak, but also no tulips or wooden shoes. We promise!
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE TOUR?
Cityloop tours have a fixed route, but they’re not hewn in stone. Just send us a mail, and we’ll see if we can adapt the tour to your wishes. For fully customizable programmes, please contact our partners at architour.
CAN YOU PICK ME UP FROM MY HOTEL?
Of course! As long as it’s in a reasonably central location, that’s part of our service.
ARE BIKES INCLUDED IN THE TOUR?
No, if you book a bike tour, you have to rent the bikes yourselves. Most hotels have bikes, so just ask your concierge. If need be, we can help you find addresses of rental places close to where you’re staying.
WHAT KIND OF SHOES DO YOU RECOMMEND TO WEAR?
The ones you love the most! But keep in mind that a tour is at least 2 hours, so pick a pair you can stand and walk on for that period of time.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Welcome to the Netherlands – the country where everybody always complains about the weather, but then deals with it anyway. If it’s really raining cats and dogs, we will do our best to find an alternative programme. But it’s generally a good idea to dress for the weather in Holland, so have good walking shoes, an umbrella and (in summer, which does exist, even in the Netherlands) sunscreen at hand.

CAN I BOOK A TOUR IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE?
Sure - after all, the Dutch are famous for their knack for languages. Our guides speak English, Dutch, German, French, even Italian! Looking for another language? Let us know and we’ll see if we have a guide available who speaks your lingo.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
The regular ones: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, iDeal, you doing the dishes.
HOW DO I CANCEL/CHANGE AN ORDER I JUST PLACED?
You can cancel or change your booking by phone or mail up to 48 hours before the tour starts. Give us a call between 9.00 and 18.00 (European time) or send your mail to info@cityloop.nl.
